Alaska Trip 2004
In the summer of 2004 myself and my trusted riding partner Scott took on an amazing task. We planned to ride from as far south on a road in the USA (KEY WEST FLORIDA) to as far North on a road in the USA (PRUDHOE BAY ALASKA) in less than 30 day's. If this wasn't tough enough, We were going to add the return trip to KEYWEST in no additional time. We planned to complete this grueling ride in less than 30 days. The final tally for our trip was 14,285 and 29 days (including the trip from Orlando to KW for the start, then KW to Orlando after the finish). This is now a IBA certified ride, The Ultimate Coast to Coast to Coast. Considered an EXTREME ride by the IBA.
I must give the folks at Sargent Cycle products a big THANKS for going the extra mile and building me a one off seat for my trip. It would have been a much less enjoyable ride with out the Sargent seat!!!!! And my boss at Don Reid Ford for sure.
